Meet the Founders
We’re Steven Guo and Wen Guo—two college students who grew up comfortably, fortunate, and deeply grateful for the opportunities life has given us. Growing up, we often saw people around us adorned with diamonds from head to toe. Back then, we didn’t question where those diamonds came from. But as we grew older, we discovered the harsh truth behind blood diamonds—the human cost, the exploitation, and the devastating impact on countless lives. As former roommates and now business partners, we realized we share the same belief: luxury shouldn’t come at the expense of humanity or the planet. Together, we founded SWG with one clear mission—to change the perception of lab-grown diamonds, save lives, and transform the jewelry industry into something truly sustainable.
